Antonio Valencia has sent a beautiful classy message to the fans after Manchester United decide against providing a new contract.

Manchester United are planning to acquire plenty of new faces in the summer transfer window in order to challenge for the Premier League title. In order to achieve that foot, the Red Devils have repudiated to provide a new contract for their Skipper Antonio Valencia.

Manchester United’s number 25 will be relieved from his prolonged player duty at the club after the failure to strike a deal with the Ecuadorian whose contract ends after the completion of this season. The rumours were erupting two days before, but the 33-year-old has confirmed via social media that he would be leaving after a ten-year stay at the club.

“Lago Agrio is a very humble town in Ecuador. When I was a child, I never imagined travel to Europe. Thanks to God for letting me play 10 years in the best club in the world: @ManUtd. Now I am focused on my recovery so I can end the season playing at Old Trafford!”

Antonio Valencia was signed by the former Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson in 2009. The Scottish man was impressed with the winger who had breakneck pace and was capable of producing good numbers in the final third.

The Ecuadorian was not able to muster the same amount of goals and assists at Old Trafford when he played in the forward line, but his linkup play with Wayne Rooney, Dimitar Berbatov, and Robin Van Persie were a treat to watch.

When his team required him to operate as a right-back under the management of Louis Van Gaal, Jose Mourinho, he stood out from the rest to stick with the task of the manager. With all these actions, he made himself a fan favourite and will go down as one of the most underrated players in Old Trafford history.

His career was filled with joy at Manchester as he was able to lift the Premier League twice, FA Cup, League Cup, and Europa League once under three different managers.

When he received the player of the month under the former boss Jose Mourinho, he got huge praise from his teammate Phil Jones.

“There’s just one word for Antonio – machine! The guy is a machine.” said Jones.

His game might not be on the brighter side, but his off-field presence will be felt at the club. Manchester United will surely miss their machine..

There are several reports quoting that players have voted for Paul Pogba to take over the captain’s armband from next season. Ander Herrera and Victor Lindelof were the other two candidates to have made the list of final three.

With plenty to accomplish this season, Manchester United will resume their normal service when they take on Southampton at Old Trafford on Saturday followed by the Champions League clash against Paris Saint-Germain at Parc des Princes three days later. Even though it looks impossible to turn it around, Solskjaer still has faith in his players to produce a good display in France.
