Sawai Mansingh Stadium Jaipur Pitch Report for RR vs CSK IPL 2023 Match

Rajasthan Royals will take on Chennai Super Kings in the 37th league match of Indian Premier League 2023 at Jaipur’s Sawai Mansingh Stadium. The Royals would want to get on the winning track at their home venue.

The inaugural champions have lost their last two matches and they will aim for a comeback. Jos Butler’s form is a thing of concern for the side, he will definitely look to entertain the home fans here. Riyan Parag’s form is a thing of worry and it will be interesting to see if he will retain his place. The bowling of the side looks excellent.

Chennai Super Kings’ form has been great, but they lost their reverse fixture against Rajasthan earlier this season. The form of the batting duo of Devon Conway and Ajinkya Rahane has been excellent. In the bowling department, the spinners of the side will love bowling at the SMS Stadium.

Sawai Mansingh Stadium Jaipur Pitch Report for RR vs CSK IPL 2023 Match

Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur is set to host its second match of the ongoing season. This was proved in the last match that the ground is not the best one out there for the batters. There is a good amount of bounce on this track and the pacers will get help in the initial overs of the match.

With the bigger boundaries, scoring runs won’t be easy here and the batters will have to run hard between the wickets. This is one of those grounds where you would not want to take the chase deep. The spinners will also take advantage of the ground dimensions in the middle-overs of the game.

The average first innings score in IPL 2019 here was 163 runs. With cloud covering in Jaipur, the dew may not play a big part in this match. Batting first and getting some runs on the board won’t be a bad thing as well. The outfield is very quick and the ball will race away towards the boundary if timed well.
