CRO Vs WAL Dream 11 Prediction for Wales Vs Croatia Group E UEFA Euro 2020 Qualifying Match tonight

CRO Vs WAL Dream 11 Prediction for Wales in dire need of a win today as they look to cut down on the deficit separating them from Croatia.

Ever since making it to the final of the world cup back in 2018, Croatia have unfortunately failed to emote the same heights which saw them rise in stature as a footballing country. The unprecedented escalation at the marquee tournamnet has not been emulated ever since by the side despite them sitting atop of Group E of Euro 2020’s qualification round as things stand.

Although Croatia have 13 points from 6 matches with the wins win, one draw and one defeat, the side have yet to win matches with conviction and really stamp their authority in the group. In Wales today, they face a side who they know they can sweep past and really set a stamen with a clinical and comprehensive showing, a result which will not only assert themselves ahead of Euro 2020 but also help them revive their flaying form.

Having defeated Hungary 3-0 in the previous match, Croatia put in a performance reminiscent of the ones they were doling out last year, a result which resonated what the side in truly capable of when it unlocks its true potential. Undefeated in their previous 5 matches against Wales with the four wins and one draw in their favour, the side enter the dramatic land of today’s encounter as overwhelming favourites, something which bodes well for them and perilously for Wales.

While Croatia are looking to reaffirm top spot and with qualification into the main tournamnet today, Wales on the other hand make a foray into the fray of this clash with a different predicament. The side are currently slumped in fourth place with just the 2 wins from 5 matches with their 1-1 draw to Slovakia the last time around only further pegging them back in their quest of climbing up the ranks.

Dream 11 Picks

Goal-Keeper

Wales biggest aberration this round of the qualifiers has been their inability to fathom goals with the side managing to score just a sorry 5 in all their matches till now Its seen them regress and face the wrath of their supporters who have been miffed with the kind of lacklustre displays the side have indulged them in.

It’s a rhetoric which bodes well for Croatia though who’ll be looking to register their second straight cleansheet today, seeing us opt for their goal-keeper, Dominik Livakovic for this clash.

Defenders

Given the likelihood of a Croatian cleansheet being so high, we have chosen Borna Barisic from the side while we have the two defenders come in from Wales. An inadequacy to fulfil their stomach for goals up the park has seen them restore to trying to shut down oppositions, something they have managed to do reasonably well by letting slip in just 5 goals till now.

They’ll be giving the defence precedence yet again as they look to stall and curtail Croatia from scoring today, seeing us go in with Connor Roberts ad Ben Davies from the side. Davies has found himself out of favour with Tottenham but the clamour for his inclusion in the side has been growing given his ability to come up with a goal or assist as well, making him a good choice for this clash.

Midfielders

We begin with Luka Modric from Croatia, someone who is one corners and freekicks, increasing the chance of him snaring a good amount of points given his escalated role in all of the side’s attacking sojourns. Marcelo Brozovic has massively impressed in Serie A, seeing him become the side selection from the side while from Wales we have opted for Daniel James who got an assist in the last match and Jonathan Williams.

Strikers

With Croatia way the likelier side to craft out a goal today given how relentless the side are at peppering the opposition with their succulent and tenacious attacks, we had to begin this facet by getting in Bruno Petkovic from the docket of their side. The striker has been in imperious touch, leaving defenders perplexed and exasperated on how to halt him in his quest of finding goals and we envision him getting atleast one today as well.

Meanwhile we will be closing out our Dream 11 side with the one pick from Wales as well, seeing the focal point of their attacks, Gareth Bale come into our side.

Captain And Vice-Captain

Bruno has been made our side’s captain for this clash while we are going in with Modric is the vice-captain.
