Ole Solskjaer evades entertaining Jadon Sancho to Manchester United rumours

The defender was said to be livid after being dropped for the contest against AC Milan

The last couple of months have seen Eric Bailly completely fall out of favour with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The Norwegian has completely shunned the CB, a move which has clearly not gone down well with the player.

Bailly’s Act Of Penance

Failing to get a look into his side’s fixture with AC Milan in the Europa League as Victor Lindelof replaced him was the last straw for Bailly. The defender is said to have been up in arms with Ole’s decision as he hit out at his manager for not choosing him for the round of 16 contest.

However, in the aftermath of his seething outburst, the defender is said to have apologised to Ole. In a bid to assuage the blow of his comments to Solskjaer, Bailly is said to have reportedly issued an apology as an act of penance.

Manchester United Set Asking Price For Bailly

The player’s decision to leave the club at the end of the season hasn’t changed in the slightest though. Notwithstanding his latest sorry, the defender is said to have set his heart on leaving the club with his lack of playing time said to have massively irked him.

The player is said to believe that his career will only dwindle from here on if he stays with his employers. Bailly believes he can still land a decent club and has a considerable amount of playing time left in his career.

Manchester United have meanwhile slapped a 20 million euro price tag on the defender who believes he has been immensely disrespected by the club. Ole had recently talked about Bailly’s situation and his lack of minutes on the pitch.

“Yeah, we have started talking to Eric and Eric’s representatives,” Solskjaer said on the player.

“Eric is keeping fitter for longer and you can see his performances as well. I have been very happy with him.

“His playing style has made him miss too many games because 100 games. That’s not enough for the period that he has been here.

“He is getting more and more robust. He is one we are talking to.”
