Five Rafael Nadal records that will never be broken !

Rafael Nadal will go down as one of the greatest tennis player of all time. He has won numerous titles and had it not been for his injuries he may have even more than the titles that he has won now. But for all his achievements in the game, he will always be remembered as the true King of Clay. Here are five Rafael Nadal records that will never be broken !

1) Most titles won at a single Grand Slam tournament.

Nadal has won the French Open nine times. No other player has come close to breaking this record and no one probably can in future. To win nine, NINE Grand Slams on a single surface is unreal!

Roland Garros is his turf and no one can de-throne the king. He is undefeated in French Open finals holding a perfect 9–0 record when reaching the finals. He has an unbelievable 72-02 win-loss streak at this tournament.

The grass court legend, Pete Sampras and Roger Federer have managed to win 7 Grand Slams titles at Wimbledon, two short of this mammoth record of titles. We should not forget that Rafa is still fit and playing. He has a chance to make this number into double digits this year itself and make this record almost impossible to break.

2) Most titles won by a teenager

Rafael Nadal was a prodigy. At the age of 19, Nadal won the French Open on his first attempt in 2005. Along with that by the age of 19 he bagged 10 other titles. The total goes to 11. He also won 24 consecutive matches as a teenager. This stays and will continue to stay unbroken for the foreseeable future.

The days when teenagers ruled the court are now history. The only teenager we have in the top 20 today is Alexander Zverev and he doesn’t even come close. It is not easy to be as versatile a player as Nadal from the very beginning.

3) Most consecutive matches won on clay court

He is truly the King the Clay. Nadal won 81 consecutive matches on clay between April 2005 and May 2007.

His record on clay is baffling. He has a win percentage of 91.48 with a 365-34 win loss numbers on clay. A difficult task to beat this record. Nadal has definitely set the record quite high. It might be my hopelessly-in-love-with-Rafa side talking but this is a record no man on this planet can break.

He also has an all-time record of winning 9 titles each at Roland Garros, Monte-Carlo and Barcelona. On top of that he is the only player to attain the Clay Slam in 2010 by winning Monte-Carlo, Rome, Madrid and Roland Garros in the same year.

4) Youngest player to complete the Career Golden Grand Slam.

Nadal completed a Career Grand Slam when he was only 24, in the year 2010 after defeating Novak Djokovic in the US Open. The other players to do so are Roger Federer at the age of 27 and Andre Agassi at the age of 29.

Nadal naturally took the least number of Grand Slams appearance to complete his Career Grand Slam. He completed his career Slam after 26 Slam appearances while Andre Agassi took 41 Slam appearances while and Roger Federer took 46 Slam appearances.

He won an Olympic gold in 2008 thereby completing his Career Golden Slam. This makes him stand apart from other players with his incredible versatility and consistency.

5) Winning a Grand Slam for most consecutive years
