Mesut Ozil is considering a move to Manchester United

Arsenal superstar Mesut Ozil is in the last year of his contract and has so far shown no signs of renewing his deal with the Gunners.

The world cup winner’s signing was a huge moment for Arsenal football club, as it signaled the start of a new era for the North London outfit.

While Ozil’s four years at the club have yielded three FA Cups and three Community shields, there is a prevailing sense that Arsenal are not progressing under Arsene Wenger.

With fellow superstar Alexis Sanchez also showing no signs of signing a new contract, Ozil might be considering a move away from the Emirates in a year’s time.

And while Arsenal fans will be devastated to see their magician leave, they will understand if Ozil goes to play for another huge team abroad.

But if recent reports turn out to be true, Mesut Ozil may not leave England at all.

Apparently, Ozil is looking to reunite with his former coach Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford. The German had a wonderful time at Real Madrid with the United boss, and wishes to continue that fruitful partnership.

Arsenal fans would dread this transfer if it ever was to happen. The last Arsenal hero to join United was Robin Van Persie, and the Dutchman went on to win the Premier league title in Sir Alex Ferguson’s last season in charge.

Ozil’s addition to United would make the Old Trafford unit a frightening prospect indeed.

Also if the reports of Jose keeping the number seven jersey ready for Antoinne Griezmann next year are true, then we might be looking at the team that could rule England and possibly Europe for a good few years.
