Worm’s daredevilry didn’t extend to just skipping NBA games to party in Vegas. In ‘Celebrity Daredevils live’ Rodman decided to take things to extreme heights, quite literally. The former NBA champion signup up to be launched in a car from a cliff in a crazy bungee jumping setup. And this stunt almost cost him his life. The risk associated with the stunt is evident from the description itself. Despite the bungee rope and harness being safely set, Rodman did sustain considerable damage.

The Worm sat himself down in a top-open car customized to fit his 6’7 frame and was attached to a harness and rope as he launched himself into a ravine off a cliff. And while his life may have been saved, some damage was done. Having your face planted splat onto a cliff as you’re recovering from an anti-gravity situation has got to hurt. Rodman was no exception to the pain as he found himself unconscious after his head-on slam to the cliff.
While The Worm did laugh off the injuries afterward, the footage is there for all to see. The star definitely seemed to be hurt in the process. Rodman’s good fortune alone prevented him from suffering grievous harm. The death wish is certainly a part of the former Bulls and Pistons star’s character it would appear. After all, we’re talking about a man who is friends with the feared North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un.
Rodman has even traveled to North Korea to spend time with Kim Jong-Un.
Rodman’s friendship with Kim Jong-Un is part of public knowledge now. But it is lost on most people, just how crazy the fact that Rodman has made multiple trips to North Korea is. There aren’t many individuals who aren’t indigenous to North Korea who have made multiple trips to the country and made it out alive. Rodman is a rare luminary in that list. The Worm even played basketball under the watchful eyes of his “friend” Kim Jong-Un.
The North Korean dictator is apparently quite the basketball fan and the Chicago Bulls were his team of choice. And if not for Michael Jordan, who else stands out as an embodiment of everything those Bulls teams of the 90s were, but Dennis Rodman? Thus blossomed their uncanny friendship.
