While Lyon was turning the ball left, right and centre, and Ashwin kept prodding away with this outside the leg stump line to the left handers, Jadeja in his ever so effortless manner, kept attacking the stumps, and was rewarded for his consistency.
The cricketing fraternity had expected Ashwin to be a menace on this track but somehow he just couldn’t get a lot of purchase from the wicket. But when Batman has an off day, Robin comes to the rescue. Slowly but surely, Jaddu is turning into a left handed Kumble that India so desperately needs.
