The King and Queen of tennis graced the ‘Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garcons: Art of the In-Between’ Costume Institute Gala at Metropolitan Museum of Art with the same elegance and charisma as they do on court. Roger Federer and Serena Williams spotted at the Met Gala !
The Swiss Maestro beguiled the audience with a tuxedo with an embroidered crystal king cobra on the back representing “business in the front, party in the back”, according to Federer. “I’ve never worn anything close to this.”
Accompanied with his life partner, Mirka Federer, the 18-time Grand Slam winner had an amazing time that night which is evident from his twitter posts.

The only other person who could steal the spot light from the master is our very own mother-to-be Serena Williams. She makes her pregnant debut at the Gala in NYC, accompanied by her fiancé, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian.
Serena showed her growing baby bump in a gorgeous emerald green halter-necked Versace gown mesmerizing the audience. The dress, which featured asymmetrical beading along one side and layers of silky chiffon to make up a massive train, was a standout as it showcased her new maternity curves.
The gown was complemented with a set of emerald chandelier earrings, a massive bracelet, and of course her gorgeous engagement ring from fiancé, who stood by his leading lady’s side throughout the event and looked very dapper in a black tuxedo.
Clearly these two legendary tennis players can make heads turn even on the red carpet.
