Three players of Real Madrid are wanting a move away from the club.

Real Madrid are considering a summer revamp by bringing in plenty of new faces. The Los Blancos are ready to sell some of their stars who have past their prime in order to save their value and bring in some younger ones to build a team for the future.

Following the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus in the summer transfer window, the Spanish club are in downhill by struggling defensively and offensively. The top scorer in this season for Real Madrid is Karim Benzema, scoring 13 goals. The trust on Gareth Bale who was supposed the fill the boot of Cristiano Ronaldo has fallen off as the Welsh International has been hampered with injuries every now and then.

Luka Modric’s contract runs up to 2020. If this stays the same, it is possible to see the Croatian International in different colours next season. Keeping all these in mind, Florentino Perez is trying to lure Mauro Icardi, Christian Eriksen, and Eder Militao to Santiago Bernabeu.

However, the reigning European Champions have been dealt with a severe blow because Marcelo, Marco Asensio, and Isco are trying to force a move away from Real Madrid in the summer transfer window, according to the Spanish football sources.

Of late, Marcelo has been in the receiving end of criticisms and has featured only once for Real Madrid since the 2-0 defeat in the hand of Real Sociedad straightaway after the winter break. He has lost his place to the academy graduate Sergio Reguilon who has been putting in a fantastic shift for the whites. He has been linked with a move to Juventus as his former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo is wanting him at Turin.

Marco Asensio was supposed to step up his game to fill the loophole left by Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid. But, the Spaniard has started just 16 games in all competitions this term. He has not been able to break into Santiago Solari’s plans who merely seen him as a squad player. The 23-year-old has plenty of time under his belts, but he would want a change if the situation does not change at Real Madrid.

Julen Lopetegui’s costliest mistake was trusting to operate Isco through the left-hand channel. The Spanish International has nothing been short of a disaster over the last few months and he has fallen out of favour under the new manager Santiago Solari. The midfielder has been linked with a move to Chelsea and Arsenal. His price tag is expected to be around 70 million euros.

There is no doubt that Real Madrid are exploring their options in the summer transfer window to reinforce themselves again. The door for some players is wide open to leave.
