The Roger Federer renaissance continues as he beat Stan Wawrinka 6-4 7-5 to win the BNP Paribas Open to win his 90th career title at Indian Wells. In what was a tight match, Federer took the first set 6-4 against his good friend Wawrinka. His backhands were particularly impressive and then took the second set 7-5 to seal the deal and win the trophy.
What was most impressive was the fact that Federer did not drop a single set en route to his title. It was a dominant display by the great man right through the tournament as he continues to defy his age.

5) Paris Masters 2011
In what was one of the worst years of his careers, Federer failed to win any of the four Grand Slams for the first time since 2002.
But he did manage to pick up a few wins before the year ended. By the time the Paris Masters had come around he was seemingly back in to shape and seemed confident of doing well.
After receiving a bye in the first round, Federer beat Adrian Mannarino, Richard Gasquet , Juan Monaco and Tomas Berdych to set up a final clash with Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.
He dominated Tsonga in the final and won the match comfortably.
4) Cincinnati Masters 2015
After a second consecutive loss to Novak Djokovic in the Wimbledon final, Federer wanted to set things straight by winning the Cincinnati Masters.
En route to the final Federer beat the likes of Roberto Bautista Agut, Kevin Anderson, and Feliciano Lopez and then Andy Murray in the semi finals to set up a rematch with Novak Djokovic.

3) Cincinnati Masters 2012
After regaining his World number One ranking by winning the Wimbledon a few weeks earlier, Federer entered the Cincinnati Masters in good spirits.
He breezed through the likes of Alex Bogomolov Jr., Bernard Tomic, Mardy Fish, and Stan Wawrinka to set up another final with at the time the World number two in Novak Djokovic.
It was supposed to be a very tight affair but Federer was having none of it as he was im imperious form throughout the match.
He picked up the win and notched up another Cincinnati Masters title to his list.
2) Indian Wells 2017
At the ripe old age of 35, Roger Federer is having a career renaissance which could be made into a movie someday.

This was Roger Federer in his prime when he was virtually untouchable as he won the first Grand Slam of the year by not dropping a single set along the way.
This was also the only time that Federer had won a Grand Slam by not dropping a set. He beat the likes of a young Novak Djokovic, Tommy Robredo and Andy Roddick in the semi final.
