It is a momentous day for Indian football as India rises to 101 in the FIFA World Rankings. This is the highest position that they have attained in the last 21 years as they had also reached the 101th position in 1996.
They have also risen to 11th in the Asian Football Confederation rankings after a run of good results over the last few months.
