18 Days After Missing USADA Deadline, Conor McGregor Claims He Is ‘Well in Preparation’ for the Michael Chandler Fight

BKFC star Mike Perry was recently in action against former UFC champion Luke Rockhold. Rockhold, who was making his BKFC debut this past weekend and was his debut, did not go as planned as Perry won the bout in the second round. Interestingly, Luke Rockhold was not knocked out. He instead gave up and took out his mouthpiece in the second round to signal that he had enough and was no longer willing to continue.

Perry, as a result, bagged his third straight victory in the promotion. Following his victory, ‘Platinum’ went on to call out Conor McGregor for a fight and it seems like his contract with BKFC is up.

Mike Perry reveals free agency after calling out Conor McGregor

As mentioned earlier, Mike Perry called out Conor McGregor, following his win over Luke Rockhold. ‘The Notorious’ was in attendance at the event and proceeded to enter the ring to do a face-off with Perry as well.

Talking about a potential fight against McGregor, Mike Perry also termed it the ‘Biggest fight in the world.’ ‘Platinum’ has now revealed that he is a free agent and his contract with BKFC has finished.

“I’m up in the air because that was my last fight on contract. I’m free from everybody, but I love bareknuckle boxing,” Perry said.

It is worth noting that Mike Perry’s fight against Luke Rockhold was his third in BKFC. Despite his contract is over, it looks like he might sign a new contract with the company after expressing his interest in bare-knuckle boxing.

Will ‘The Notorious’ fight in BKFC?

Conor McGregor was once again all over the headlines after being in attendance at the BKFC 41. However, it wasn’t just the fact that he was in attendance at the event, ‘The Notorious’ even went on to do a face-off with Mike Perry.

Moreover, when he entered the BKFC ring, the former UFC champion had the BKFC title on his shoulder. The same became the talking point for fans over the internet, with many suggesting that the Irishman might want to try his hands at bare-knuckle boxing.

However, it is worth noting that Conor McGregor is currently scheduled to take on Michael Chandler in the UFC later this year. Despite a date and venue for the fight not being announced as of yet, the fight will most likely take place after being spoken about on a number of occasions.

Thus, for now, bare-knuckle fighting doesn’t seem happening for the former UFC champion. However, McGregor is known for taking up challenges and might look for the same in the future.

Do you guys want to see McGregor in BKFC? What are your thoughts on Mike Perry’s challenge?
