Things are not so great in the Royal Challengers Bangalore camp at the moment. Considered by many to be the pre tournament favorites, the RCB have simply failed to perform in this year’s IPL. And now there are rumors of a tiff between their two best batsmen. So why is Virat Kohli furious at AB De Villiers ?
The RCB have been so poor this season that their fans were expecting them to roll over when they faced the mighty Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede yesterday. But somehow the match seemed to be heading their way when Mumbai required 24 off the last 13 deliveries.
Aniket Choudhary had bowled a superb over until then. But he suddenly he decided to slower his pace and bowl a short delivery. Pandya did not miss as he smashed it into the stands for a six.
That was the turning point of the match as Mumbai went on to win the match. After the match, Aniket said that he asked ABD for advice on the final delivery.

“I was wondering whether to bowl him (Hardik) the slower one or the fast one. Maybe it was a match-changing point. So, I went to him (AB) and asked: ‘What should I bowl?” Choudhary said.
“Maybe he is ready for the slower one, so I think you should go with the hard length,” AB replied. “And when someone as great as AB tells you do to something, such a world class player and if he is giving you a suggestion, it’s very hard to go against it,” the RCB pacer added.
But, while ABD was convinced about the quicker delivery, Kohli was left fuming with what Choudhary bowled. “He (Virat) was not happy. He thought I did the wrong thing and I should have bowled full and slow,” Choudhary concluded.
