Borussia Dortmund made a hilarious post on RB Leipzig with 10-year challenge post and the reply was even better.

RB Leipzig’s prominent rise has infuriated other clubs because of its partnership with Red Bull which already has a club in Austria, Red Bull Salzburg. They are hated throughout the country.

The club kick-started their journey in the fifth division during the year 2009. With the mentality to introduce a new club into the Bundesliga within eight years time, they bought the team from East of Germany.

When they were in the fifth division, the club was handed over a transfer budget of 85 million Euros which was enough to nudge every other competitor in the league to gain promotion year after year.

People in Germany believe that Leipzig’s fantastic rise from the fifth division to Bundesliga ‘Contradicts all sporting and emotional values’.

In the past, the yellow wall of Borussia Dortmund have refused to watch the game at Red Bull Arena calling them a disgrace to German football. Nevertheless, they were able to gain promotion to Germany’s top flight league in 2016 and made their debut in 2016.

They have confirmed that they would not watch the game at Red Bull Arena when the league toppers Borussia Dortmund played Leipzig. This shows how much hate this particular German club has in this part of Europe.

Upon their introduction to Bundesliga, they spent another 80 million to strengthen their squad. They were able to welcome the likes of Naby Keita, Timo Werner, Oliver Burke, Dayot Upamecano, and Kyriakos Papadopoulos during that particular summer.

Their transfer business was tremendous and took the club to another level, and finished second in the League that season and qualified for the UEFA Champions League. They are forced to play the Europa League this term after finishing sixth in the Bundesliga last term.

After losing their midfield star Naby Keita to Liverpool last summer, their talisman Timo Werner has decided against signing a new contract with the German outfit. However, they were able to recoup a brilliant amount of money where they are likely to spend it and make themselves a force again.

Keeping the sporting events aside, Borussia Dortmund tweeted a photo which trolled Leipzig which did not exist on this year ten years back. The club was formed in May 2009.

Some of the German teams nearly have a funny twitter handles and there will be plenty of friendly banters between them. Since RB Leipzig is one among them, it did not take much time for them to reply.

Before Borussia Dortmund had tweeted that photo, Leipzig had already posted one.
