Arsenal players wages revealed

Arsenal players’ wages have been revealed and there is no surprise that Mesut Ozil is topping in that area.

This time last year not many people would have placed their money on contract extensions of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez at Arsenal. The former and the latter earn the same amount at two different clubs with one staying put at the Emirates and the other is playing his trade with Manchester United.

The German and Chilean believed that they should be up there with some of the top earners across the country, and Ozil put pen to paper last February which sees his contract run until 2021.

Arsene Wenger was not able to afford Alexis Sanchez, which in turn helped the Gunners in the pursual of Henrikh Mkhitaryan who was ready to move for a relatively smaller wage when compared both these two.

Handing over a new contract with ludicrous amount has not really clicked for the Gunners, who has fallen out of favour under Unai Emery currently.

There are plenty of surprising wages in the squad.

Spotrac have released the wages of Arsenal.

These are the top twelve earners at Arsenal Football Club, and it is a surprise to see Sead Kolasinac in the list who earns 120,000 pounds per week. The Bosnian signed for the Gunners for nothing, but his wages are sky high.

On the other hand, Nacho Monreal who has more than ten years at the top level is pocketing just under 70,000 per week.

Aaron Ramsey is the fifth highest earner at Arsenal, but there were several discrepancies between the board and his agent when it came down to the new contract. It would be increasingly interesting to see the wages he would earn at his future club.

According to various reports, it is understood that Aaron Ramsey has had a medical at London yesterday. There has not been a significant hike in Aaron Ramsey’s wages as he would earn just 7 million throughout the year at Juventus, compared to 5.7 million at the Emirates.

Extending the contract of Mesut Ozil has come back to Unai Emery who has not been able to make any signings during the January transfer window. The Arsenal boss has confirmed that the club is work in loan deals to bring some players before the transfer window closes, ruling out potentially any permanent deals in this window.

There is no doubt that the Spaniard will be looking to ship him off in the forthcoming summer transfer window which will fetch a fee around thirty million and cut down the hefty wages.
