Arsenal Transfer News: Chelsea’s soon departed Willian has accepted personal terms with local rivals Arsenal, set to earn £100,000 a week.

According to a report by the ESPN, Willian is set to join Arsenal as both the parties have agreed on the personal terms, while Willian’s contract at Chelsea has expired.

The report claims that Willian will receive weekly wages of £100,000 on a contract that will run till 2023. with the move expected to be announced later this month.

Since last month, the Brazilian winger was linked with Arsenal and the deal has finally concluded with the official announcement from Arsenal still awaited.

Willian didn’t have a spectacular season under Frank Lampard’s debut season as a manager at the club, and he managed to receive only a handful number of stars in the season.

Yet Lampard wanted the Brazilian International to remain at the club, and Chelsea was in negotiation with Willian since many days but in the end didn’t agree on the demands made by Willian, in spite Lampard backing Willian.

In the meantime, Arsenal’s Mikl Arteta managed to seal the deal and have convinced Willian to join Chelsea this summer from the Stamford Bridge.

No Champions League for Willian

With Arsenal failing to end in top-4 in the Premier League and got an early it from this season’s Europa Lague they have no chance to play the Champions League next season.

But with the FA Cup triumph by Arsenal last week, which Willian didn’t play because of an injury, the Gunners will at least be able to provide Europa league football to him.
