AUS vs WI Dream 11 Prediction: Best Dream11 team for today’s Australia vs West Indies Match 10 | TSR helps you with Dream 11 for CWC 2019.

The 10th match of the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 will be played between Australia and West Indies at Trent Bridge today. It is worth mentioning that both the teams have started their journey on a winning note in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.

Playing against each other, it is imperative that one of them will lose their winning momentum today. Among the major battles expected to happen will be between Australian bowlers and West Indies’s batsmen on a batting-friendly surface at Nottingham.

AUS vs WI Dream 11 Prediction

Wicket-keepers for AUS vs WI Dream 11

I have included a couple of wicket-keeper batsmen in my Dream11 fantasy squad for this match. You might get surprised but both my wicket-keepers belong to the same team – West Indies.

The reason behind picking Shai Hope and Nicholas Pooran is both their form and potential. Having scored 1,238 runs in 22 matches at an average of 68.77 and a strike rate of 86.75 including five centuries and five half-centuries in the last year, Hope is the fourth-highest run-scorer in ODIs. Him opening the batting for his team gives him more time to settle and work wonders for my team.

Pooran scored a praiseworthy 34* (19) with the help of four fours and two sixes before finishing the match against Pakistan. The southpaw also playing a couple of interesting cameos in the recently concluded Indian Premier League has made me put faith on him.

Batsmen for AUS vs WI Dream 11

A sumptuous batting unit of my team comprises of three batsmen in Australia opening batsman David Warner, middle-order batsman Steven Smith and veteran West Indies opening batsman Chris Gayle.

Given the impressive innings which Warner and Smith have played (including the warm-up matches) in this tournament so far, one feels the time is not far when one of them will stand tall on their his reputation to belt the opposition left, right and center.

Warner scoring 89* (114) might be contrary to how he usual bats but it might just be the momentum which he might have needed before pulling off a colossal innings. Both him and Smith would be looking to punish the inexperienced West Indies’ squad today.

Talking of Gayle, he would be looking for furtherance from his score of 50 (34) with the help of six fours and three sixes against Pakistan. The fact that one square side of Trent Bridge’s stadium is short might come in handy for Gayle especially if he attempts to take on Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins in the first powerplay. Therefore, get the legendary batsman in!

All-rounders for AUS vs WI Dream 11

Citing his recent form, one doesn’t need to write in detail about picking West Indies all-rounder Andre Russell. If Russell gets going with the bat, Australia will have to come up with well-thought plans to stop him. The manner in which he bowled in the first match gave significant signs of him finding his rhythm. If he delivers with the ball, consider it as bonus points for you.

I have picked Australia all-rounder Marcus Stoinis in my squad. In who is the second of my two specialist all-rounders, Stoinis’ certainty to bowl has forced me to pick him ahead of others. The same also provides surety to me regarding my choice.

Bowlers for AUS vs WI Dream 11

Australia fast bowling pair of Mitchell Starc and Nathan Coulter-Nile have also made it to my Dream11 side. The West Indian batsmen have a general tendency of going after the bowlers from the word go. While it fetches them runs, it also increases the chances of them getting out.

With Starc also slated to bowl in the death overs, his probability to return among the wickets increases all the more. The sole spinner in my side is Australia leg-spinner Adam Zampa.

Having picked up three wickets in Australia’s tournament opener, Zampa should be able to deceive the the West Indian batsmen today. If the match becomes a high-scoring encounter, attempting to attack Zampa might backfire for the West Indian batsmen.

Having registered bowling figures of 5.4-0-27-4 against Pakistan at the same venue, Oshane Thomas was declared the ‘Man of the Match’. Playing his first match against Australia, the 22-year old cricketer has it in him to trouble the Aussie batsmen.
