Former Arsenal star Benik Afobe has denied all charges of sexting a teen girl.

The current Wolves striker was accused of sexting a 16-year old girl, and was facing the terrible prospect of not playing football ever again if he was proved guilty.

But Afobe has completely denied these charges, as the striker’s representatives have said that Afobe’s social media accounts were showing signs of ‘operating suspiciously’ for several weeks.

The girl was shocked to see that she was still receiving messages after she told him the age. Afobe’s Instagram account was constantly sending messages to the girl, who is a social influencer.

She was also told to take a taxi and come to a hotel in which Afobe was staying in Bolton. The girl’s parents were shocked and upset, as they were disgusted by Afobe.

Her father wanted to take the taxi instead, and confront the striker.

This is what the girl’s mother had to say,

“I just wanted to stop it from happening to anyone else.”

“My husband was disgusted, he wanted to drive to Wolves and confront Benik. I said he should have got into the taxi he wanted to send for my daughter.”

Afobe will hope that this does not escalate further, as the striker should be concentrating on preparing for next season.

Afobe is currently still contracted to Bournemouth and was on loan with Wolves for the past season. Now he is waiting to see what will happen after the summer!
