ENG vs IND Head to Head Records: The SportsRush presents for you the Head to Head statistics for the first ENG vs IND Test.

For the second time this year, a high-profile Test series comprising of England and India is all set to be played. Apart from the geographical location of the two series, another significant difference between them is the number of matches as the reputed national will contest in a five-match series (their 11th overall in this format) this time round.

In their 89-year old Test history against each other, England have successfully maintained their domination which sees a massive upswing when they play at home. Having said that, with the current squad considered among India’s best-ever in Tests, the hosts would be aware of the challenge which the opposition can put in front of them in the next six weeks.

Set to be played in Nottingham from tomorrow, the first England vs India Test will also be the first one at the venue since India’s 203-run victory (their last Test victory in England) in 2018.

Out of the 62 Tests which England have played at Trent Bridge, they’ve won 22 and lost 18 over the years. However, their last victory at this venue dates back to 2015 when they had defeated Australia by an innings and 78 runs. India, on the other hand, have both won and lost two out of their seven Tests here.
