Daniel James was acting “Claims Ryan Giggs off the winger’s accident in the Wales vs Croatia match in the EURO 2020 Qualifiers yesterday.
Manchester United winger Daniel James appeared to be knocked out after a heavy mid-air collision with Domagoj Vida last night. Everyone seemed worried about the young Welshman as he lay seemingly unconscious on the ground for a while.
Daniel James lay flat on the ground with his arms and legs flayed. The players and the referee rushed to his aid before they called for medical staff to check on the 21-year old. James was taken off the field for his treatment. However, he was immediately sent back in after a few minutes.
This led to a furore as many perceived this to be a lack of concern from Ryan Giggs for a player who was possibly concussed. However, Giggs seemed to care very little about it. Instead he sported a smile while he explained the reason why he had no hesitation in bringing james back.

Ryan Giggs sensationally threw Daniel James under the bus by revealing that the youngster was merely play acting and was not seriously injured.
“Daniel James went down and stayed down with a bit of acting. “Giggs said.
“But the medical staff went over, he was compos mentis and we did all the checks at half-time and he was fine.”
Daniel James also told sky sports that he was fine:
“[I’m] fine. He caught me in the head.
“I didn’t get knocked out.”
It appears that Giggs has not understood that his claims have made James an easy target for accusations of cheating. It does not help that James has already received two yellow cards in the Premier league for diving.
It’s also possible that Giggs risked James’ reputation in order to save his own, considering the word doing the round about Giggs playing a footballer who had just been knocked out with a concussion in front of the whole world.
