Chelsea vs Manchester United : David de Gea Set To Be Out For Entire March Owing To Personal Reasons

David De Gea Mistake: Manchester United goalkeeper’s disaster set another example for his poor form, gives Chelsea an advantage of 2 goals.

Manchester United and Chelsea were amidst a crucial clash in the semi-final clash of the FA Cup and the Red Devils have lost the rhythm in the second half of the match.

Much of the blame can fairly be put on Manchester United’s goalkeeper David De Gea, who made a reckless mistake to let Mason Mount score the second goal of the tie.

Brandon Williams gave a poor pass in the middle of the pitch when Mount intercepted the ball and since he wasn’t closed by the defenders, he drills his shot low from the edge of the box.

De Gea judges it wrong and misses the ball before it nestles into the bottom corner to make it 2-0, with this Ole Solskjaer’s side is set to cruise out from the FA Cup.

Manchester United’s cost them the tie

De Gea could have done better while confronting the shot by Oliver Giroud which ended up being a goal. The ball even touched him but he let it past him.

On the other hand, Victor Lindelof has been underwhelming tonight. Anyway, this is the 4th clash between both the sides this season and Chelsea lost all the previous ones, except this, the most crucial one.

With time on the clock almost over, there is no scope for the Red Devils of making a comeback by the end of the game.
