De Gea howler vs Arsenal

De Gea howler vs Arsenal: The Manchester United goalkeeper committed a major mistake for Arsenal’s first goal.

Manchester United are playing Arsenal at Old Trafford. By the time of this post, the scoreline is 1-1 at halftime.

Arsenal opened the goalscoring through a major howler by Manchester United’s goalkeeper, David de Gea. The goalkeeper failed to stop a corner from Sead Kolasinac properly, which led to the ball crossing the goalline.

However, Anthony Martial equalised for United four minutes later, scoring his 7th league goal in as many games.

Manchester United are currently 8th in the league, while Arsenal are 4th.

The Manchester United goalkeeper, considered as one of the best goalkeepers in the world and the safest hand in the Premier League last season, committed a major mistake for the goal.

The goalkeeper made a sloppy save, as the ball rolled over his head and crossed the goal-line. Ander Herrera’s clearance couldn’t help De Gea, as Arsenal took the lead in the game.

Here’s the goal:

While some reacted rather surprised with De Gea’s howler, many trolled the goalkeeper.
