DOTA2 OMEGA LEAGUE CLOSED QUALIFIERS: The closed qualifiers of the Dota2 Omega league have finally come to an end. 16 teams engaged in a fierce battle for 7 days. The top 2 teams, 5 Men and Viking.gg qualified directly to the immortal division alongside the 10 invited teams.

The Omega League is the most exciting event this summer for DOTA2 fans. The tournament features some of the best Dota2 teams from Europe, Asia and America. 10 teams were invited by the organisers while 16 teams from Europe fought it out for the last 2 spots. The tournament has a total prize pool of $600,000.

Who won the Omega league European Closed Qualifiers?

The European closed qualifiers came to an end on Sunday. The 16 participating teams were put in 4 groups. Cyber Legacy, who was a strong contender, did not cross the playoff stage. They lost in the round-of-4 against 5men while HellRaisers slipped up to Viking. gg.

So, the two teams who will be seeded in the immortal division are 5men and Viking.gg

When is the divine division?

While the 2 winners of the closed playoff qualify for the immortal division, the other 12 teams are placed in the divine division. The divine division will also include 4 teams from the immortal division. The divine stage games have already begun for the teams who have qualified from the closed playoff. The 2 teams that will be joining them from the Immortal groups will be decided when immortal division games begin on August 14th.
