"I have already given my opinion to the FIA"– Carlos Sainz

“I have already given my opinion to the FIA”– Carlos Sainz talks about the artificial track limits, which has been a point of discussion lately.

This season Formula 1 has been amidst a discussion about the artificial track limits, which was applied in Bahrain, and Red Bull complained about Lewis Hamilton exploiting it.

Carlos Sainz, who has been driving for Ferrari this year, has talked about his opinion on the artificial track limit with the FIA and demands for uniformity.

“I have already given my opinion to the FIA “, he stated in conversation with Caranddriver.com. “We must use uniformity, the same rules must apply in all corners.”

“It doesn’t matter if we use the white line or whatever, but there must be a concrete limit. I think all drivers share this opinion,” he added. “We need natural limits. Grass or gravel works much better.”

Sainz feels that the natural limits are better than unnatural limitations, as there is no need for analysing anything because if the driver goes off the limit, it comes with consequences.

“If all the drivers deliberately go too far, these limits invalidate the times immediately.”

Revolution at Ferrari

Sainz has been decent with Ferrari till now, except for his qualifying bump in Imola, where he failed to qualify for the Q3, but on the following day, he recovered his loss and finished P5.

He, along with Charles Leclerc, aim for a revival of Ferrari to the top, and so far, the Maranello based team has taken the right steps and is already competing against for the 3rd position in the championship.

Mattia Binotto, at the start of the season, told that Ferrari’s realistic aim is to finish at the top of the midtable, as Red Bull and Mercedes view to be untouchable right now.
