Force India social media account on Perez

Sergio Perez had one of his worst grand prix experiences in the lights at Singapore tonight, as he forced Ocon to hit the wall on the left hander after Turn 1 and then rammed into Sirotkin whilst trying to overtake him.

The attempt was clearly a little malicious on part of Perez who went sideways and hit Sirotkin in a pretty ugly incident.

The Force India social media team tweeted about the incident, shockingly putting the blame on Sirotkin. They then however, deleted the tweet.

A Twitter user called Force India out for their tweet and the team handled the situation very well, apologising for the post, as they had initially believed that it was Sirotkin’s mistake.

The Ocon-Perez incident

Esteban Ocon is having a tough time in Formula 1, as he finds himself without a seat for F1 2019, despite having put in impressive performances this season.

His tryst to find a seat in F1 seems to be headed for a roadblock and things just got a little worse for him today, as he crashed out of the Singapore GP and that too at the hands of his own teammate.

Going into Turn 1, none of the cars crashed with each other, but right after that, on the left hander, Ocon went right into the wall, as Perez did not allow him a lot of space.

Perez then admitted on the team radio that he didn’t quite know that Ocon was there and didn’t really do it on purpose.

Esteban Ocon was visibly upset and devastated following the crash, as he is already experiencing a lot of off-track issues, one’s that could hamper his F1 future.

Ocon, however, was very diplomatic in how he approached the questions about the crash, as he did not quite blame Perez and said that everyone saw what really happened.

Racing Point Force India endured a very, very tough weekend, with both drivers not scoring points.
