ICC U19 WC 2018: Milkman’s son Pankaj Yadav makes the cut for India U19

In an exciting news for the cricket fanatics, milkman’s son Pankaj Yadav from Ranchi district has made the cut into the India U 19 squad for ICC U19 World Cup tournament. Pankaj Yadav has achieved what many can only dream of.

Pankaj Yadav is a potential right-arm spinner by trait. He certainly deserves a ‘certificate of excellence’ for reaching up to this level through hard work, grit, determination and passion for the game.

The intriguing youth tournament will go all guns blazing in the starting two months of the next year i.e. from January 13 to February 13. It is learnt that as many as 16 teams will be participating in the tournament in what makes the competition even more competitive.

After coming to know his name was listed in the squad, Pankaj Yadav got delighted to the core. He stressed the fact that cricket is his life and has vowed to give his best in the World Cup.

The Ranchi boy said MS Dhoni and Shane Warne are the cricketers whom he looks up to.

“Cricket is my life and I will give my best in the World Cup. Dhoni and Shane Warne are my role models,” the young sensation quoted ANI.

Chandradeo Yadav is a proud father. He was also ecstatic when his son made giant strides in cricket. He emphasized that he wanted his son to shine well in academics but his son was always into cricket.

As a father, he understood his son’s interest and powered his son to do well in cricketing career. He said that Pankaj Yadav is a great admirer of MS Dhoni. He also expressed his wish that he would also want his son to become like MS Dhoni one day.

“I always wanted to see my son doing well in academics but his passion was cricket. So, I encouraged him to pursue it as his career. I respect his choice and will always support him for it. Pankaj is a great fan of Dhoni, I wish he becomes like him someday,” he said.
