Raikkonen's haiku book

Kimi Raikkonen’s haiku book that has been revealed by Will Buxton has to be one of the best things ever.

Kimi Raikkonen’s dry sense of humour has always entertained the F1 fraternity. The Iceman’s stories have been nothing short of exhilarating, especially the ones that have been leaked before his English book launch.

And while there are still a couple of weeks left before his book in English comes out, his ‘Haiku book’ is something that the fans can warm their hearts with.

Will Buxton today released a photo of Raikkonen’s haiku book, and it surely is one of the greatest things ever.

“Kimi’s book of Haiku is the greatest thing I’ve ever seen” Buxton tweeted.

BBCs Andrew Brenston too jumped into the conversation, revealing a few more pages from the book.

The haiku’s are all related to F1 and touch upon various aspects of the sport, like the track, the helmet etc.

With the Japanese GP scheduled for this weekend, these little haiku excerpts from Kimi could be best way to prepare and gear up for the race.

Kimi Raikkonen is currently in the fight for the 3rd position on the driver’s standing with Bottas, after his countryman overtook him in the last race, thanks to his 2nd place finish.

But more importantly, Raikkonen will need to raise the bar and along with Vettel challenge the Mercedes duo in the remaining 5 races, so as to snatch the constructor’s title away from them. Currently Ferrari trail them by 53 points.
