Waking up as a hardcore Cavs or Celtics fan wouldn’t have been easy today, because the first thing you would’ve saw is Kyrie Irving donning the Emerald jersey of the Boston Celtics or Isaiah Thomas shaking hands with the Cavs association.

After the Cleveland blowout loss to the Warriors in the Finals, a whole lot of trade talks and rumors had spun the wheels in the Eastern Conference.

Acquiring Derrick Rose for $1 million, the Cavs are already in the move and with this blockbuster trade going on, one can only wait and see until regular season for how supportive and effective these trades have been.

Friday morning sees the Cav’s young Kyrie Irving at his prime being traded for the Celtic’s up and coming all-star Isaiah Thomas, or IT as we call the 5’9 point guard, along with forward Jae Crowder, center Ante Zizic and Celtic’s draft pick that they acquired from the Brooklyn Nets.

The exchange is very one sided as it sees a cast full of young studded stars at their prime. The price for Kyrie Irving maybe high but his athleticism is one that goes highlighted in every single night.

Bidding wars for Irving in the likes of high stakes trade talk had already started one month ago when Kyrie Irving opted for trade in the Cavs organization.

Rumors say lack of team chemistry or Playoffs inevitable loss had created a crater in the Kyrie-Cavs relation.

LeBron James recently had reposted a thank you tweet for Kyrie Irving supporting the thanks that Irving deserves instead of the backlash that LeBron himself had received for his infamous trade to the Miami Heat years ago.

Superstar MVP Kevin Durant justified Irving’s decision for opting trade saying its time Kyrie made his own team orientated around him.

He says “When you’re around LeBron James, there’s so much that comes with that. Outside distractions and conversations and just noise that just comes around just from being around LeBron James.

And Kyrie was at the point, like, ‘All right, we lost the championship, this whole season’s gonna be about if LeBron’s gonna leave or not. I’m ready for a new challenge.’

All that stuff kind of met at the pinnacle of why he wanted to leave, and it just felt like he wanted a situation where he would just be free from all of that and just play.”

The trade, however, hasn’t been finalized yet. Only recently ESPN noted that Celtic’s Isaiah Thomas hasn’t cleared the physical test in the Cavalier’s training facility.

This goes way back to his Hip injury that he received in the last playoff series with the Cavs themselves. In the semifinals or the Eastern finals, IT had been benched due to this injury and had missed the entire series.

One reason for the tipping point towards the Cavs for the win, they say if IT was healthy, he could have led the Celtics against the Cavs to level the odds.

Instead this injury comes back to haunt Cleveland and reports aren’t entirely convincing on whether IT is in Cleveland to stay.

If the trade is voided then this could create awkward team-organization-player relations while leaving fans buzzing. Inevitable or not, this trade had topped the entire board and may become a major player for the 2018 finals we will witness next year.
