Leicester Vs Arsenal Dream11 Prediction: The SportsRush brings you the dream11 pick between Leicester City and Arsenal.

After going winless in the last two games, Arsenal will be eager to secure all three points against Leicester City at King Power Stadium on Sunday. The Foxes are fighting for a place in the Europa League, whilst the visitors are battling out for a place in the top four to secure Champions League qualification.

The head-to-head statistics suggests that the Gunners could come out on top, but they have struggled to find their feet on away turf and defensive woes are coming back to haunt them this season.

We shall look at the dream11 picks between Leicester City and Arsenal.

Leicester Vs Arsenal Dream11 Team

Formation: 4-4-2

GOALKEEPER

Kasper Schmeichel: Kasper Schmeichel has kept eight clean sheets this season and will be hoping to shit down the attackers for Arsenal on Sunday. The Danish International is a tremendous shot-stopper and is a great reader of penalties to stop them too. Schmeichel might not have his best season, but Leicester City have a better chance of keeping a clean sheet.

DEFENDERS

Ricardo Pereira: Ricardo Pereira is one of the best full-backs this season. The Portuguese International has a workload by working high and down the pitch, but he has done it exceptionally. He has scored twice and has five assists to his name.

Ainsley Maitland Niles: The injury to Hector Bellerin means that the Gunners have only Ainsley Maitland Niles and Stephen Lichsteiner in the disposal. The latter has struggled throughout the campaign, but Niles has faired decently over the last few months. Maitland Niles has scored one and assisted one from 15 appearances this term.

Sokratis Papastathopoulos: Sokratis Papastathopoulos has been the best performer for Liverpool in the backline. The Greece International is expected to keep his place despite having an off day against Wolverhampton Wanderers. He has the ability to nick goals from set pieces, having scored once and assisted twice in the Premier League.

Harry Maguire: Harry Maguire was constantly linked with Manchester United in the summer transfer window, but Leicester were able to tie him down to a new contract. The English International wins plenty of duels in the backline and has the ability to cause havoc through set pieces. He has scored thrice this season.

MIDFIELDERS

Matteo Guendouzi: Matteo Guendouzi has not started in the last two games, but the French teenager is expected to be restored in the starting lineup. Guendouzi likes to sit back with the defence and dictate the game from the back. He is yet to contribute goals, but he has done enough in the middle by winning plenty of tackles.

Youri Tielemans: Youri Tielemans struggled to impress the former Leicester boss Claude Puel, but he is seen as an integral player of the squad by Brendan Rodgers. The Belgian International has been impressive over the last two months, scoring twice and assisting five times from ten games.

James Maddison: James Maddison operates behind Jamie Vardy in the lineup. The English International is the main reason for chance creation and done well by linking up with the midfielders and attackers. He takes set pieces too. He has scored seven and assisted six this campaign.

Marc Albrighton: Marc Albrighton made his first start under Brendan Rodgers after suffering a hamstring injury which kept him out for nearly two months. The winger has an abundance of energy by running high and down the pitch. His inch-perfect crosses makes him unplayable at times.

FORWARDS

Jamie Vardy (C): Jamie Vardy is Leicester City’s top scorer this season. He has scored 16 times this season having started this season very slowly. The English International has been the main man under Brendan Rodgers and he will be hoping to breach Arsenal’s defence on Sunday.

Alexandre Lacazette: Alexandre Lacazette is expected to lead the line after casting doubt over Pierre Emerick Aubameyang’s fitness. Having already scored 16 goals in all competitions, the Frenchman will be aiming to add more to his tally this season. It will be tough to come up against the likes of Harry Maguire at the back.
