Man Utd Transfer News: Barcelona targets 20-year-old PSV prodigy; Red Devils and Arsenal also in line

Man Utd Transfer News: Barcelona targets 20-year-old PSV prodigy, Manchester United and Arsenal also in line to bring in the star.

Barcelona is in search of Luis Suarez’s heir, as the Uruguayan International is in the final years of his career and the Catalan club needs to rebuild its attack.

According to the various reports, Barcelona is targetting to land Donyell Malen from PSV and is in the race along with Manchester United and Arsenal to hire his services.

Malen is in a splendid form for PSV as in 18 games he has already amassed 16 goals and 6 assists for the Dutch club making him the top scorer of the Eredivisie with 8 games played. The Dutch International is deemed to be the next big thing in World football.

Thus, considering his form, Barcelona is preparing themselves to land him in Nou Camp and the Catalans consider him a suitable replacement for Suarez, who is probably enjoying his final years with the Blaugranas.

However, Barcelona will face competition from Manchester United and Arsenal, who are also in contention to sign Malen from PSV. The North London club remain keen on re-signing the player who was once playing within their youth system.

The Gunners are ready to fight to bring back highly-rated youngster who left the club for just £200,000 two years ago. Meanwhile, Manchester United’s frontline is not finding enough goals and they opine that Malen could be the solution to their goal-scoring problem.

As of now, the 20-year-old is rated at £50million and it would be a fair deal if the Dutch striker ables to fit the shoes of Suarez at Barcelona or continue his form at other two clubs.

Right now, Barcelona’s chances to win more silverware can be the attraction for Malen and lack of Champions League games at Old Trafford and the Emirates might help Barcelona in this case.
