Milan Skriniar to Manchester United

Milan Skriniar has ruled out a potential move to Manchester United explicitly.

Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar who has been linked with a potential move to Manchester United has rubbished the reports by furiously posting an Instagram story, according to Manchester Evening News. The Slovakian International has been one of the players the Red Devils are interested according to various reports and are ready to pay 63 million to secure his duties.

Various reports also suggested that Inter Milan would be ready to let him go to secure the services of Diego Godin who has refused to extend his contract with Atletico Madrid beyond this summer.

After a poor first half and an unstable start to the defensive part of the game under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer,  it is no doubt that the Red Devils are looking to add more defenders to their roster to strengthen as they prepare to name their permanent manager.

The likes of Eric Bailly, Victor Lindelof, Chris Smalling, Marcus Rojo, and Phil Jones are available at stake, but there is no doubt that Manchester United are in search of a world-class centre-back who could cement his place and guide others at the back.

Skriniar has not hidden from the fact that he was in interested in securing a transfer to Manchester United, but he was not ready to disrespect Inter Milan to try and force the move.

“When some coach like Jose says that he is looking for a player like me or somebody else, it’s always nice, but I don’t know why these rumours continue. I’ve not said anything to anybody, just what you can see on the web.

“Even if Jose is one of the most famous, best, greatest coaches in the world, it’s not something I think of because I’m playing for Inter and am happy here at Inter.

“I’m happy in Milan, it’s a great city, even when my parents or friends come here, we have a look around and I’m happy here and relaxed here. When the results are going well too, it’s all even better.”

However, the 23-year-old has vented out his frustration in the Instagram story which read “You write things that you don’t even know. You are sh***. Now write an article on this.”

After some time, this post was taken down the Slovakian International who has been a rock solid presence at the back for the Nerazzurri’s. The partnership of Skriniar and De Vrij at the back has been fantastic for the Blues.

It is understood that Milan Skriniar is one of the names in Manchester United’s wishlist along with Kalidou Koulibaly and Nikola Milenkovic.
