Former Indian skipper and modern-day great, MS Dhoni, has acquired 25 per cent share in Run Adam, a sports tech-ecosystem. The platform has been established to help young sportspersons to nourish their talent and help them in their professional careers. The wicket-keeper batsman will also be the mentor and brand ambassador of Run Adam.

The start-up was launched by MS Dhoni himself in Mumbai this past Tuesday, and it is all set to be the only tech-based platform in India which will help athletes progress towards a prosperous professional journey.

Run Adam will use technology as a platform to help sports personalities connect with various resources in the sports world, including experts, academies and coaches, sponsors, and others. The platform is built to be a single-access and tech-enabled for young athletes who wish to use the resources present in the country.

The application is available on the Google Play store and the Apple store, and registration on it is completely free for sports persons across the country.

Dhoni said, “Run Adam will play a significant role in aspiring sportspersons’ life to help achieve their dreams. I have faced challenges during the initial stages of my career and I see Run Adam filling a vacuum.”

The 37-year-old claimed that the platform will help in identifying and nurturing sporting talent in India, and boost the future of Indian sports. He further revealed that he acquired stake in the start-up due to the vision of the team of Run Adam.

“The sports ecosystem will naturally help identify, help and nurture sporting talent early and this can change the destinies of sportspersons as also the future of sports in India. When you help sportspersons achieve their full potential, you propel the sporting quotient of the entire country. My decision to take stake in the company was due to the passion of the team and their vision for sportspersons.” Dhoni revealed at Run Adam’s launch.
