"My lifetime storybook isn't for the library": Lakers' Montrezl Harrell lets everyone know he can see the trade rumors around his name with a cryptic tweet

Montrezl Harrell responds to rumors about the LA Lakers shopping him with a cryptic tweet directed at no one in particular.

Montrezl Harrell was a huge free agent signing for the LA Lakers during the last off-season. The 6th man of the year was brought in to do exactly what he had done for the LA Clippers last season.

Averages of 14.7 points and 6.6 rebounds per game would say he has been doing just that. However, the player has been a bit iffy when it matters most for the franchise.

Due to this, the player has been included in trade rumors, something that he undoubtedly doesn’t like. But while many may have expected an extreme reaction, the player has been more subtle with his approach.

Montrezl Harrell lets the world know he can see the trade rumors around his name on Twitter

As previously mentioned, he is not having a bad season by any stretch. In fact, his averages and overall impact almost guarantee there will be a substantial market for the player.

So far the Charlotte Hornets seem to be the front runners in the race to land Harrell before the trade deadline. With the trade rumors running rampant at the moment, it would be hard for any player to miss them. And Montrezl Harrell is certainly no exception.

As a reaction to the talk around his name at the moment, he recently tweeted this out. It is hard to tell exactly what the player is thinking at the moment as he has been very tight-lipped on the matter.

But, this tweet by him lets everyone know that Montrezl Harrell knows exactly what is going on. Undoubtedly something that will make reporters more careful about what they write about him.

It has later been revealed that Harrell has been going through a lot, off the court. Lakers owner Jeanie Buss went to Staples Center and met with him. He tweeted this today.

The details are yet to emerge, but we stand with Montrezl in what is clearly a tough time for him.
