Grizzlies vs Jazz TV Schedule

Memphis Grizzlies (32-36) will face Utah Jazz (42-25) in today’s opening match. Here we look at the Match Preview and TV Schedule.

Yesterday, we saw the underdog teams upsetting strong teams that have opened the game for the No.8 seed in the West. Blazers, Suns, and Nets won their respective matches against Rockets, Clippers, and Bucks.

Day 7 will host 6 games, with Grizzlies vs Jazz being the first fixture for the day. Memphis started their campaign 32-33 with a higher probability to retain the eighth seed in the West. But things have not gone that way for Grizzlies, they have lost three consecutive games with five games in hand.

They desperately need a win to kickstart their Bubble campaign or they could very well be blown away by their other competitors.

Utah Jazz also has not started the season restart as they wanted. The side has played three games in which they won one and lost two. Rockets have now equaled Jazz record (42-25), Thunder and Mavericks are only 1.5 games behind Jazz. But Jazz still will make it to the playoffs for sure, albeit at a lower seed, if they don’t start winning from here on.

Grizzlies vs Jazz Preview

The two teams will look to gain some winning momentum through today’s match. Both are on a losing streak; Grizzlies (0-3) yet to have open their winning account, and Jazz (1-2) are on a two-game losing streak.

The Bear is loosing on eight seed in the West. Portland Trail Blazers upset the Rockets yesterday with 110-102 victory which has reduced the deficit to 1.5 games for the eighth seed. Grizzlies will want to win today’s contest in order to remain on the eighth spot otherwise they are in deep trouble.

Rookie of the year candidate, Ja Morant hasn’t impressed yet in the season restart. He scored only 11 points in the previous game against Pelicans and  Morant will need to fire big time, if the Grizzlies are to have any hope of making it to the playoffs.

Utah Jazz has dropped to No. 5 seed and they must regain their momentum in order to move up the table. They will want to move to the 3rd spot in order to avoid the Lakers before the Western Conference finals.

With the Grizzlies on a downward spiral and the Jazz short on confidence, this one should be a nail-biter. However, considering the form and overall depth of both sides, the Jazz should be able to get one over the Grizzlies.

Ja Morant needs to step up to the plate. Both Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell have been firing in the Bubble and a little help from the supporting cast could easily pip them to beat the Grizzlies.
