Bradley Beal has long been the best player for the Wizards, but it looks like his time in the capital city could be coming to an end soon.

The Wizards star has had to carry some seriously bad teams during his time, especially recently, and it hasn’t resulted in anything meaningful aside from some first round playoff exits.
Beal clearly wants more from his career, and he may be realizing that Washington may not be the place that can help him achieve what he wants to achieve.
Yes, the Wizards brought in Rusell Westbrook, but there’s still a lot more they need to do to make their team a championship contender as evidenced by their beatdown at the hands of the Philadelphia 76ers in the firsy round of this year’s playoffs.

So, if Beal does get traded, where could the Wizards superstar go? Well, there are plenty of options for him, but it may not be in his hands.
Ideally, Beal would probably love to be traded to a championship contending team like perhaps the Los Angeles Lakers. LeBron James is always on the lookout to make his team better, and Beal could fit the bill perfectly.
In fact, the Lakers are also involved in trade talks with Washington’s other superstar, Russell Westbrook. Los Angeles would surely love to have either of the two guards if they can a deal done in some way.
Another team to watch could be the Golden State Warriors. Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and the rest of the organization are itching to get back to being a premier team in the league after a couple years of injuries decmiated their chances.
The Warriors were also rumored to be involved in talks around Raptors’ Pascal Siakam, but surely they’d prefer to have an elite scorer like Beal who can help ease the burden off Curry and Thompson.
One more landing spot could be the Miami Heat. After a Finals run in 2019-20, expectations were high for Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo and company entering the 2021 season. However, the ball didn’t bounce their way and they were swept in the first round of the playoffs.
It was clear they lacked the star power to go against some of the better talent in the league, and adding Beal could definitely help reduce that gap giving the Heat three solid stars to rely on.
The Bradley Beal story will be something to watch this offseason, and if he needs to make a decision before the NBA draft, then we may have an answer soon as to where he’ll be heading.
