Giannis Antetokounmpo headbutts

Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo headbutts Moritz Wagner during clash with Wizards as the reigning MVP loses his cool.

Giannis was ejected from the game after he headbutted Moritz Wagner as the Greek Freak lost his cool over a 2-point play. The Bucks sit atop the Eastern Conference with the best win-loss record in the entire league.

However, Giannis and his men have lost their last two games in close fought encounters. Giannis did not play the game against Raptors but was shone by sophomore guard Luka Doncic during the clash against Mavericks. The Wizards are already out of the race to bag the eighth seed and have fallen behind the Hornets into 10th place who did not even travel to the Orlando bubble.

For a superstar representing his team across the globe and who is touted as a role model across the world, Giannis is expected to carry himself better. Twitter has gone ballistic over the incident and several fans are clamouring for a longer ban on the reigning MVP.

Giannis was driving to the rim and seemed to be fouled. However, a charge was called by the referee. As soon as he got up, and the players started talking between them, a small fight broke out.

And before one could make out, what was what, Giannis headbutted Moritz Wagner, who seem to have instigated the Bucks superstar in some way.

As a consequence of this action, Giannis was ejected from the game.

Bucks are guaranteed the top seed in the east and for Giannis to lose his cool in such a meaningless game would throw his temperament into question.

The Bucks are one of the favorites to win the NBA title along with the Lakers and Clippers and would expect their franchise star to behave in a better manner during more crucial moments during the playoffs. The Bucks lost to the Raptors in the conference finals last year when Kawhi Leonard shut down Giannis to halt the Bucks.
