As Giannis Antetokounmpo bullied the Bulls defender in Game 3 of their first-round series, Kyle Kuzma jokingly wrote about the difficulties of defending the Greek Freak.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the hardest players in the league to guard. Standing at 6-foot-11, weighing almost 242 pounds, and having a 40-inch vertical, it was damn near impossible to prevent the Greek Freak from scoring buckets at will.
After dominating the first three games of the Bucks-Bulls first-round playoffs series, the 2-time MVP tortured Chicago’s defence for the entire 34:49 minutes he played ball. The reigning Finals MVP put up a solid 32-point, 17-rebound, 7-assist near triple-double performance, leading the defending champions to a 119-95 blowout win to grab a 3-1 series lead.

“It’s annoying as hell guarding Giannis Antetokounmpo”: Kyle Kuzma
While watching Antetokounmpo exhaust the Bulls’ defense, Kyle Kuzma reminisced the harrowing experience of guarding the 27-year-old. Taking it to his Twitter, Kuz wrote how it was “annoying as hell” guarding Giannis as he ran into defenders’ chests every other possession. The Wizards’ forward hilariously wrote:
It’s annoying as hell guarding Giannis he’s going to run into your chest every F’n possession lol
It is pretty evident why Kuzma dreads guarding Giannis. In the 8 contests they have played against each other, the Bucks leader has outscored (27.5-16.5), outrebounded (14-8.8), out-assisted (5.3-2.6), and even averaged more blocks (1.5-0.9).

Averaging 27.5/14.5/7 so far this postseason, Giannis seems to be unstoppable. With Khris Middleton missing out on a significant number of games, it’ll be very interesting how far the in-form Antetokounmpo is able to lead his team in the playoffs.
