Shannon Sharpe takes to Twitter to list out everything the Lakers are doing wrong while Anthony Davis is still on the mend.

It seems as though giving up JaVale McGee and Dwight Howard was a huge mistake by the Lakers. Following Anthony Davis’s injury, the Lakers seem to have absolutely no one to provide a solid paint presence for them.
Guards have been able to weasel their way into the paint for a fairly clean look at the rim while big guys like Rudy Gobert seem to be all too comfortable down-low.
Anthony Davis provided a solid paint presence for the Lakers while also being able to hold his own on the perimeter. His switchability on defense made him a prime candidate for DPOY year in and year out.
Without him, the Lakers have had to resort to a Marc Gasol who’s in his late 30s to try to get stops in the paint.
Shannon Sharpe seems to have noticed the flaws in the Lakers these past few weeks and took to Twitter to address them.

It’s a shame we do not get to see Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe duke it out on Undisputed over the Lakers’ recent regular season woes. This doesn’t stop Sharpe from airing out his frustrations on Twitter however.
Though losing Davis to a right calf strain for the unforeseeable future is a blow to the Lakers, LeBron James and the squad have shown little to no effort on the defensive end of the floor. Sharpe highlights this in his tweet as he calls them out for their lackadaisical defense in quite literally every facet on defense: on the perimeter, inside the arc, and in the paint.
Following their loss to the Utah Jazz tonight, the Lakeshow has now lost 4 games in a row. It seems as though the defending champs have lost their footing and need a major reckoning in order to get back on track.
