NFL Preseason Power Rankings : Ranking all 32 NFL teams based on their betting odds to win Super Bowl LV, and breaking down the top 5.

NFL Power Rankings 2020

#1: Kansas City Chiefs

An easy choice at number 1. Between Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes, WR Tyreek Hill, and TE Travis Kelce, the Chiefs offense is scary. It’ll be a tough task to knock off the defending Super Bowl champions in 2020, and no team looks better heading into the season.

Current odds to win Super Bowl 55: 5-1

#2: Baltimore Ravens

Arguably the best offense in the league and definitely a top 5 defense. In February, Lamar Jackson became the youngest MVP in league history (not bad for a running back). Their offensive line ranks #1 despite the loss of Marshall Yanda and they added Calais Campbell and Derek Wolfe in the offseason.

John Harbaugh’s team finished last year with the best regular season record, but crashed out of the playoffs after a shocking loss to the Titans. They will look to set the record straight this season.

Current odds to win Super Bowl 55: 13-2

#3: San Francisco 49ers

Bay Area fans will hope their team can bounce back from a bittersweet 2019 season. They made it to the Super Bowl and were even winning 20-10 at one point, but it somehow slipped away. Fortunately for them, most of their key pieces are still in place and their defense remains one of the best in the NFL. The 49ers will definitely be back with a vengeance in 2020.

Current odds to win Super Bowl 55: 7-1

#4: New Orleans Saints

The 2019 season ended in a familiar fashion for the Saints: losing to the Vikings in the playoffs on the last play of the game. Again.

However, given the strength and well roundedness of their roster, they can potentially make a deep playoff run this year. Head coach Sean Payton will have a lot of weapons to work with, including a multitalented quarterback room and superstar RB Alvin Kamara.

Current odds to win Super Bowl 55: 12-1

#5: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Even a few months ago, no one would have predicted that the Bucs would be ranked top 5 heading into the season, but that’s the beauty of the NFL. In one of the strangest offseason moves in league history, 6 time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady left New England after 20 years and made the move to Tampa.

Although he may be old, he is still arguably the greatest football player ever and he will be joined by former teammate Rob Gronkowski who will be coming fresh out of retirement. Bruce Arians, who has long gone underrated as an NFL head coach, will have all the tools to create a winning culture in Tampa Bay this year.
