FC Goa recorded a thumping 5-2 victory over the visiting Kerala Blasters side with the help of Corominas’s remarkable 7-minute hat trick, the fastest in ISL history.

It started off with 3 mistakes from both the sets of goalkeepers at the opposite ends, in an exhilarating encounter which saw the first half ending even at 2-2.

The second half turned in favor of the home side as Coro completed his hat trick, taking full advantage of the slow Kerala Blasters center backs Jhingan and Lakic-Pesic.

The Blasters also lost Dimitar Berbatov to injury and we’ll have to wait and see how long he will be out for. Let’s have a look at the team ratings for both the sides.

FC Goa

Kattimani(7/10): The game did not start of well for the FC Goa goalie as he made two blunders in the first 20 minutes itself to allow Kerala Blasters take a 2-1 lead. But he ended the match well making some very good saves to keep the blasters at bay.

Narayan Das (7.8/10): The left back was evident in his challenges and helped the Goa side keep up the dominant display. He also put in a delightful cross into the box which was finished by Lanzarote.

Bruno Pinheiro(7.3/10): The center back was a rock at the heart of defense for the Goa side. He also played a couple of long balls up front which were taken advantage of by Coro and Lanzarote.

Mohamed Ali (7/10): The central defender gave a solid display and complemented Pinheiro at the back.

Benny Seriton(6.9/10): Seriton put on a par performance, although he picked up a yellow card for persistent fouling.

Edu Bedia(8/10) : Bedia played a crucial role in Goa’s second goal as he gave an incisive pass to Narayan Das, cutting Kerala’s defense, who crossed into the box for Lanzarote to finish. The midfielder also put in several good tackles.

Ahmed Jahouh(8.5/10):  The midfielder provided a wonderful assist for Coro in the beginning of the second half through the middle of the Blaster’s center backs.

Mandar (7/10): Mandar did not have the best game, he tried to make good runs but he was stopped in his tracks for majority of the game. Most of his efforts at the goal were also from long distance.

Lanzarote (9.5/10): The Spaniard produced an excellent display as he scored two goals and also provided an assist to Coro, which completed his hat trick.

Brandon Fernandes (8.5/10): Brandon was constantly threating the Blaster’s defense with his through balls, one of which found Coro and he took full advantage of it to double Goa’s lead in the 50th minute.

Corominas (10/10):  It was night to remember for Coro as he completed his second consecutive hat trick in ISL, scoring the fastest hat trick in the ISL history in the process.

Kerala Blasters

Paul Rachubka (5.8/10): The Blaster’s goalkeeper had a torrid time in the middle of the sticks. He made two mistakes in the opening 20 minutes that handed Goa the lead. His lack of communication with his defenders meant that he had a miserable game.

Rino Anto (6/10): The left back was kept out of if the game for most of the match as he found himself unable to cope against the speed of Mandar and Narayan Das.

Jhingan (5.5/10): The Indian center back was a shadow of his past performances in this match as he found himself repeatedly beaten by the speed of Coro and Lanzarotti.
