Pogba to Chelsea

Pogba to Chelsea: Surprising reports from France suggest that Chelsea could be a possible destination for the midfielder.

Manchester United are going through a tough time at the moment. Jose Mourinho’s side is currently 10th in the Premier League, having lost to Brighton and West Ham United in the league this season.

The side only has ten points from seven matches, which is their worst start to the season since 2013/14, when David Moyes was in-charge of Manchester United.

The disappointing run for United continued in the Champions League this week, when Jose Mourinho’s men played an unconvincing 0-0 draw against Valencia. The event was yet marred with controversy as Paul Pogba told the reporters that he has been banned from interviews after the match.

The club is surrounded with controversy over feud between the French midfielder and Mourinho, and things turned worse last week when a video showed the duo arguing during a training session.

Earlier, Paul Pogba also criticised Mourinho’s tactics, urging the team to attack at Old Trafford.

Manchester United haven’t a game at Old Trafford since the Premier League opener against Leicester City.

Pogba to Chelsea?

Paul Pogba has been linked with a move to Barcelona throughout the transfer window. The Catalan giants also reportedly made a bid for the French midfielder, which was rejected by Manchester United.

The reports of L’Equipe now suggest that Chelsea could be a possible destination for Paul Pogba. The French outlet reports that the prospect of siding with fellow Frenchman N’Golo Kante could be interesting for Pogba, and a move can be made as early as in January.

Paul Pogba’s future at United is uncertain, and English media outlet The Guardian earlier reported that the French star’s agent Mino Raiola is set to hold meeting with the Manchester United board regarding the future of his client, and Jose Mourinho.

What next?

Manchester United will now play Newcastle United in the Premier League this weekend. Jose Mourinho’s men have been winless since the last four games, and will be desperate to break the streak.

It is speculated that a loss at Newcastle could be detrimental to Mourinho’s future at Manchester United.
