TheSportsRush brings Liverpool’s expected lineup vs Leicester City, as the Merseyside club aims to maintain their position at the top of the table.

Liverpool beat Brighton & Hove Albion by a 1-0 margin to claim a hard fought win and three vital points on Merseyside. Mo Salah scored the solitary goal to take his team to the top of the pile, at least momentarily. Alisson Becker was another lad who stood out and has not conceded a goal with 270 minutes of football having been played. The Reds visit the King Power Stadium next to take on Leicester City. We have a look at their potential line up for this clash.

DEFENCE

Liverpool’s defensive issues have been answered this season and that is mostly down to Alisson Becker and Virgil van Dijk. The Brazilian keeper and Dutch defender are expected to start next Saturday as well. Another man who has stood out is Joe Gomez. The 21 year old has been formidable at central defence. Andrew Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold seem to be the best options to play as fullbacks.

MIDFIELD

Liverpool went unchanged for a third successive match against Brighton and could very well go the same way in their fourth. This could see James Milner play at defensive midfield. Gini Wijnaldum is another top performer and could play higher up the pitch in the centre of the park. Naby Keita is proving to be an indispensable player and should start at Leicester.

ATTACK

Liverpool’s attacking prediction seems like a no-brainer. Roberto Firmino set up Salah’s goal at the Anfield on Saturday and should play as striker. Sadio Mane, who has three Premier League goals in three matches had a quite night against the Seagulls will start next Saturday.

The Senegalese will be hoping for a better performance than the once in his third match. Mohammed Salah was Liverpool’s match winner with a beautiful finish and has been directly involved in a Liverpool goal in all three matches he’s played so far. He should be handed a start as well.

LIVERPOOL’S EXPECTED LINEUP: Allison; Robertson, van Dijk, Joe Gomez, Alexander-Arnold; Milner, Wijnaldum, Keita; Salah, Firmino, Mane
