TheSportsRush brings Liverpool’s expected lineup vs Tottenham, as Jurgen Klopp’s side aims to continue on their winning run.

Current Premier League table-toppers, Liverpool, have started their season on a roll, winning all four games convincingly and conceding just one goal. The Reds defeated Leicester City in what could be termed as a close scoreline of 2-1, but it was Jurgen Klopp’s men who dominated the game for most parts.

Albeit, Liverpool players will now return following the international break to play Tottenham Hotspur, in what promises to be an action-packed Saturday afternoon at Anfield.

Liverpool’s form last season had been brilliant thanks to the attacking trio of Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino. However, with the addition of defensive players including Naby Keita and Allisson Becker this past summer, the team has been phenomenal.

However, they meet Tottenham Hotspur, who have had a history of close encounters with the Anfield giants. Despite Mauricio Pochettino’s side losing their last game against Watford, Jurgen Klopp will be vary of the danger that Spurs possesses, and will be hoping to put up a strong line-up.

With that being said, TheSportsRush puts up a predicted Liverpool XI to face Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, where Klopp is expected to start a 4-3-3 formation.

Defence

Liverpool’s new summer addition, Alisson Becker has had a great start to life in England, having kept three clean-sheets in the opening three games of the Premier League. It could have been four in four, had it not been for a costly error by the Brazilian star. However, it is still certain that Alisson will start as goal-keeper for the Reds.

Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez are tipped to be the central defenders for Liverpool, while they will be supported by the young and energetic full-backs in Trent-Alexander Arnold and Andy Robertson.

Midfield

Naby Keita and Fabinho were excluded from the previous line-up against Leicester City, but with an opposition as strong as Tottenham Hotspur, it is expected that one of the two will start the game. On the other hand, Jordan Henderson and James Milner have enjoyed good form, and will be expected to keep their starting places.
