Ravindra Jadeja slams a fan on Instagram

Ravindra Jadeja slams a fan on Instagram: The Indian all-rounder seemed to have lost his cool on the social media platform.

India cricketer Ravindra Jadeja, who is known for his all-round skills as a bowler, batsman and a fielder, was recently seen lashing out at a critic on social media platform Instagram.

It all happened after a user named ‘tiwari.vipin’ commented against Jadeja batting on one of his recent posts. “Abe apni game pe bhi focus kr le thodi, batting hoti nhi all rounder ban k baitha h (Focus on your game, you can’t bat properly but play in the team as an all-rounder),” the comment read.

In the last Test that he played, Jadeja was part of a 204-run partnership for the seventh wicket alongside wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant. While the latter scored his second Test century, Jadeja scored his 10th half-century, 81 (114), with the help of seven fours and a six.

In the two matches that Jadeja played in the Test series, he scored a half-century in three innings picked up seven wickets at an average of 28.57, an economy rate of 2.24 and a strike rate of 76.2. Jadeja was instrumental in holding up one end as the Indian fast bowlers made inroads from the other.

For someone who had performed in the recent past, the 30-year old cricketer was perhaps in no mood to spare such a comment. Tere ghar pe TV nahin hai kya. Last test match dekha nai. Idiot (Don’t you have a television at home? Didn’t you watch the last match? Idiot),” a furious Jadeja was seen as replying on the above comment.

Been called up as a replacement on the back of him scoring 99 runs and picking up seven wickets at The Oval, Jadeja made his white ball comeback after a year during the Asia Cup last year.

In the eight ODIs which he has played since then, Jadeja had picked up 14 wickets at an average of 24.57, an economy rate of 4.59 and a strike rate of 32. With all-rounder Hardik Pandya ruled out of the first ODI to be played tomorrow, Jadeja appears to be the front-runner to replace him.
