Real Madrid are set to launch a mega bid for Eden Hazard.

Real Madrid have already completed the signing of Thibaut Courtois from Chelsea. The Spanish Giants are now set to bid for another Chelsea star, Eden Hazard. The Belgian forward has long been linked with a move to Real Madrid. Hazard has himself hinted at his departure from Chelsea before the World Cup in Russia.

He stated that Real Madrid know what they have to do if they want him at the club. And now, it seems like Spanish giants are ready to make a bid for the Chelsea star. Express reports that Florentino Perez is preparing to launch a £200m bid for Eden Hazard to land him at Santiago Bernabeu.

Eden Hazard joined Chelsea’s training earlier this week on Monday alongside Thibaut Courtois. While the goalkeeper clearly stated that he wanted to leave and signed for Real Madrid before the Premier League transfer deadline, Hazard featured in Chelsea’s first game of the season.

Eden Hazard came on as a substitute for Willian, and made an instant impact as he provided a beautiful assist for Chelsea’s third goal. However, the reports of a £200m bid have cast doubts over his Chelsea future, and fans fear they’ve seen the last of Hazard at the club.

Real Madrid’s transfer summer has been difficult as the club first endured the shock departure of Zinedine Zidane, and later saw Cristiano Ronaldo leaving the club for Juventus. On the Premier League transfer deadline, Real Madrid also parted ways with Mateo Kovacic on a season-long loan.

The Spanish giants will begin their season with the UEFA Super Cup, where they will meet city rivals Atletico Madrid on August 16.
