Real Madrid are planning on replacing Cristiano Ronaldo, and are set to bid for Eden Hazard.

Eden Hazard has publicly spoken about his dream of playing for Real Madrid. Even after Zidane’s departure, the Belgian talisman said that he dreamt of playing for the Whites and he loved the shirt with or without Zizou.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s shocking departure to Italy means that Real Madrid need to make a major signing, and it looks like Florentino Perez is set to sign Eden Hazard from Chelsea in this transfer window. The defending European champions are believed to have stepped up the process for signing the left winger from the Blues according to several reports.

Eden Hazard still has two more years on his contract in west London but Real Madrid are ready to pay £150 million for him. Having spoken already of his ambitions of playing for the Spanish giants, Hazard also did not commit to a new deal at the Stamford Bridge which was thought to be earning him a wage of £300,000 per week in a lucrative deal.

The 27 year old wanted to wait for Chelsea’s managerial decision and also on the transfers that his club makes.

However, the six time Premier League winners have failed to add to their catalogue almost two weeks into the transfer window and have also parted ways with Antonio Conte- a decision that might be a huge deciding future as far as Hazard’s future is concerned.

Nevertheless, Real Madrid’s hierarchy has speeded its approach for the player who has shined in the World Cup at Russia. The Whites have a history of signing the World Cup’s star men as they did in 2010 with Mesut Ozil and with James Rodriguez in 2014.

Ronaldo could be irreplaceable in the eyes of many, but bringing in Eden Hazard and another Galactico to the Santiago Bernabeu in the summer transfer window that remains, Real Madrid fans could be in for a treat.
