Huge relief for Real Madrid as their star forward Cristiano Ronaldo returns to training.

Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has returned to full training on Tuesday. Dani Carvajal has also made recovery as Real Madrid look forward to finish the season on a high. This comes as a boost to Real Madrid squad, as the club prepares for the Champions League final on May 26.

Both the players will be available for Saturday’s final La Liga game of the season against Villareal.

The Portuguese star forward’s last appearance came against Barcelona on May 6. Ronaldo sprained his ankle and was substituted at half time. Dani Carvajal injured his hamstrings during the Champions League semi-final against Bayern Munich. He has been on sidelines since then.

The return of Cristiano Ronaldo has come as a huge relief in the Real Madrid camp. The five-time Balon d’Or winner is the highest scorer in this season’s Champions League.

Announcing on Twitter, Ronaldo tweeted ‘OK’, signifying that he’s fit for the upcoming games.


Ronaldo was doing a mixture of indoor work and training on the pitch as a part of recovery process, according to Real Madrid.

Announcing his comeback, Ronaldo tweeted ‘Back on track’, as the Portuguese forward trained with the first-team squad. Ronaldo has scored 43 goals in 42 appearances for Real Madrid this season.

In the Champions League, the Portuguese star has netted the ball on 15 occasions in just 12 games.

Ronaldo has played a pivotal role in Real Madrid’s Champions League campaign this season. After a disappointing end to the La Liga season, the Los Blancos pin their hopes on winning their third consecutive Champions League title.
