Sir Alex Ferguson's message

Sir Alex Ferguson’s message: The former Manchester United boss visited the Manchester United’s squad during a training session last month.

Manchester United have been impressive since the appointment of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The Norwegian manager is yet to draw or lose a game in his five matches in charge, and the side reached the fourth round of the FA Cup last weekend.

The side is currently in Dubai where they are taking part in warm-weather training sessions.

Solskjaer earlier informed the media in a press conference that Sir Alex Ferguson attended a training session at Manchester United, and interacted with him and the staff.

The Norwegian has played under Sir Alex in the entirety of his Manchester United career. The former manager’s message to the Manchester United squad during his visit has now been revealed.

Sir Alex Ferguson’s message:

The Scotsman retired from his post as the manager of the club in 2013. His last game for Manchester United ended in an entertaining 5-5 draw.

Poetically, it wasn’t until Solskjaer’s first game in charge last month when Manchester United scored five league goals again.

And now, according to a report from the Sun, it has been revealed what Sir Alex told the Manchester United squad during his visit.

“You can make this club great again,” Sir Alex told the new generation of Manchester United players.

A source close to the club, according to the Sun, said that Sir Alex believes in the players to lead Manchester United to glory again.

“He told the lads that this group will make United dominant and successful again,” the source said.

“The players believe that there are some good times ahead.

“The players want to repay Sir Alex for his support and kind words and are determined to win something for him and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer this season.”

What next?

Manchester United will return to action in the Premier League as they take on Tottenham Hotspur on the weekend.

In the FA Cup fourth round, Manchester United have been drawn with Arsenal. The side will travel to the Emirates Stadium to fight for a place in the fifth round of the domestic cup tournament.
