Thiago Silva Wages: How much will Brazilian defender earn at Chelsea

Thiago Silva Wages: How much money will Brazilian defender earn at Chelsea, as he recently said yes to the offer made by the Blues.

According to the several reports, Thiago Silva has agreed to join Chelsea this summer and set to pen the contract offered by the Premier League giants.

It was clear after the Champions League final that Silva is going to leave PSG, as he himself confessed him after the defeat against Bayern Munich with his contract running out.

Now it has been revealed that Chelsea has managed to find an agreement with the Brazilian defender, finishing their pursuit for a reliable centre-back.

Thiago Silva Wages- How much money will he earn?

As per Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea has offered a two-year deal with €6million set to be yearly compensation for his services, which apparently were agreed by Silva.

So, this means that he will earn about €115,000 a week, making him one of the highest earners at the club. Though, comparing it to his PSG wages it is a momentous pay cut.

Hearsays claim that Silva at least wanted €10million a year wages from his new club but parties interested in him were hesitant of matching that amount.

And Chelsea, as you can see made the highest offer among all the interested parties and have in the end has hired the services of Silva.

Chelsea triumphed over Fiorentina

Apparently, Fiorentina was also highly interested in Silva and pursued him till the last minute. Obviously, the Italian club was not able to meet the initial demands of the Brazilian.

And directed that they can’t offer anything beyond €5.5million yearly wages. Probably this is where Chelsea gave a better offer and considering the Champions League football and the prospect of regular game time in the Premier League.

Silva might have said yes to the bosses at the West London club. It is only matter of days before we see Silva at the Stamford Bridge.
